Creative Workshops

The Curious Caboodle offers a wide range of art and craft activities aimed at adults, suitable for all levels of experience. The sessions are for small groups of up to 4 people and are held in the workshop space at the shop in the market.


I am available to plan and lead community based workshops and projects. I can also deliver private workshops of your choosing for up to 12 people at other venues such as homes and function rooms. If this is something of interest, please do get in touch using the contact form.

Book a Workshop

These creative sessions are aimed at adults aged 16+. They are suitable for all levels and no experience is necessary. Each session is for a small group of up to 4 people.     Learn how to carve and print a lino block. We will be looking at mid century designs such as Hornsea Pottery to create a unique hand printed tote bag.     Create a quirky kilt pin brooch with lots of charms and beads. We will be repurposing old and broken jewellery to make our brooches, feel free to bring anything you would like to use.     Using heavy gauge foil sheets, trace and emboss a design to create a hanging or wall decoration. We will be looking at Folk Art, Traditional Tattoo and Mexican designs for inspiration.
