Brought to life in 2018 by mixed media artist Katie Gill, to encompass a creative business that was multi-faceted and ever evolving. Katie has over 20 years experience in art, craft and delivering workshops which began after graduating in 2003 with a BA Honours in Fine Art.
Previous tutoring in furniture upcycling, gallery curation together with other roles in the community and culture sectors have all helped to shape what the business is today. Alongside art, upcycling and sharing skills, Katie has a love of collecting vintage, antiques and all things quirky and interesting.
Fast forward to 2025 and The Curious Caboodle is now Katie's full time focus with bricks and mortar premises offering a retail space filled with unique treasures and joyful creations together with a cosy workshop area.
